Biker Cafe Anyone?

With the biking season well and truly getting up a head steam, you might be out to enjoy the scenery.  Or you might be in search of a cafe along the way to meet up for a decent coffee or a mug of tea or coffee, the ultimate fish supper, the best ice-cream, the perfect sausage roll or an artery hardening Ulster Fry.

In Northern Ireland from Newcastle to Portrush and all other points of the compass, although cafes welcome the passing trade from riders we are not aware of any that are specifically biker orientated – unless you know different?

Over in England, Scotland and Wales it’s a different story and now at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park is North Yorkshire’s 1st purpose built Motorcycle Cafe – The Manor Motorcycle Cafe.

Opening on Monday the 18th April 2011 at 9am The Manor Motorcycle Cafe is owned and operated by motorcycle owners and enthusiasts and is thus built with bikers in mind, with helmet racks, plenty of off-road parking for motorbikes, full disabled access, comfortable warm indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating, The Manor Motorcycle Cafe is the ideal place for bikers to ‘meet and eat’.

The Manor Motorcycle Cafe owners say, “The menu will be a good mix of traditional British and Continental food, all cooked fresh on the premises with locally sourced ingredients.”

Located between the A1 at Catterick & Richmond and the M6 at Devils Bridge The Manor Motorcycle Cafe is the perfect stop off point on ride-outs in the Yorkshire Dales National Park area around Hawes, Leyburn, Bedale and Reeth in North Yorkshire.

Tank bag route cards will be available free to customers detailing circular ride-out routes around the area. HD videos showing highlights of the routes will be available on-line via their website at www.manor-cafe.co.uk and YouTube.

Visitors will be able to upload photographs of their ride-outs to their photograph gallery on the website and there will be competitions and special events throughout the season – win Manor merchandise and Rolling Road sessions with partners at Automoto Racing.

A bit of a ride out we will admit, but if you are passing through that way on your travels The Manor Motorcycle Cafe looks like the place not to miss – with Right To Ride pointing you in the right direction.

Last words are left to The Manor Motorcycle Cafe, “We look forward to seeing you at the Manor in the near future whether as individuals or as a group.”
