It’s For Charity

Ride It Right the motorcycle initiative for riders in Northern Ireland says check on their events calendar as motorcyclists raise tens of thousands of pounds each year for various charities.

From toy runs to rock nights for cancer research from hospital children’s units to animal sanctuary’s the latest event is the Brothers Of The Third Wheel  Ireland’s 3rd Annual Fund Raising Ride Out.

The ride out takes place on Sunday 11th September 2011 and is in Aid of the Shimna Valley Childrens’ Holiday Home.

Shimna Valley was specially created to nurture and sustain families who are coping with the everyday demands of nursing a child diagnosed with cancer.

Come along and see what this worthy charity does as the ride out finishes at the home with refreshments on arrival.

The run leaves the Temple Crossroads, Co.Down, at 1.00 sharp with a Halfway stop/meeting point at Kilbroney Forest Park, Rostrevor with – Car Park & Café & WC available—departing at 2.45 sharp)

The suggested minimum donation £5 per bike/trike.
